We recognized the dangers of polluted indoor air when we named our company over 20 years ago. Due to the pandemic, the air we breathe indoors is finally being scrutinized. Now, indoor air quality is recognized as a national emergency with over 4.3 million deaths every year attributed to poor air quality. Since 2002, we have led many industry segments with innovative solutions to make your home or building the safe space it is meant to be.
You may have read about Sick Building Syndrome or heard about toxic mold in the news. Our newborn baby suffered health issues from mold in 1999 and we left everything behind. At the time there was a lot of media exposure on “toxic black mold” and many so-called experts capitalizing on fear tactics. We spent several years researching and talking with hundreds of people around the world while perfecting our remediation processes. Our goal was to see a world where no one had to go through the health and financial devastation that we did.
Discovering how mycotoxins affected our clients’ health from mold contamination and incomplete remediation processes set the course for IAQM. Over the past 14 years, this discovery has taken IAQM to 42 states, Puerto Rico, and Panama. We have decontaminated millions of cubic feet of air space in homes, hotels, cruise ships, commercial buildings, and schools. Along the way, we have provided thousands of customers with safe and healthy environments while exceeding their expectations.
